It was Harvey Day in Cincinnati and Rip Tide was facing the Cardinals.
I mentioned on twitter that I thought MH had the bad body language in the warmup.
But TDK struck out the second batter to get two quick outs, and the Reds announcers were getting pretty hopped up. But then….a wind aided HR. I thought it was a fly ball but it carried and carried….and suddenly it was 1-0.
I took my eye off the game to post Gary Cohen calls and came back to learn that
Matt Harvey again got two quick outs before issuing a solo shot on a slider. Yairo Munoz homered this time.
2-0, #Cardinals.

and then I saw MH hit a batter. Then he struck out his second batter to end the inning.
Then in the third…
Yeah….that’s MH watching a 3 run homer. 5-1 Cards end of 3.
TDK had an easy 4th.
A leadoff walk led to bullpen activity but a double play erased it. And a warning track shot to end it.
This is a great joke…
So…Matt Harvey. More like Matt HRvey amiright? (@goodfundies?) pic.twitter.com/lkYeanK2p4

MH came out for the 6th and gave up a walk or something, I dunno, the Mets were on. And that’s a wrap.
It’s interesting to watch. He has runs of Not-bad but surrounds it with monster home runs. Just not good enough.
