Mets somehow will sell tickets with NO FEES!

The Mets want you to know about the below.

Before we begin, they announced this in the middle of Sunday’s game.  At 2:20pm.  That’s a little weird but whatever

Here’s what I want to know.  Fees are like what $6 a ticket?  If they sell a million tickets are the Mets just willing to eat 6 million dollars?  Or are they normally gouging us with these fees that they don’t actually need to ever charge?

You know what, let’s see what the actual number is.  Let’s buy two tickets for tomorrow’s games.

That image may be a tad small, so I will read It to you

Total Convenience Fee For Two Tickets: $5.50

Per Order Charge: $6

I dropped my request down to 1 ticket.  For one ticket there is still that Per Order Charge – which I am going to guess is not a “fee” it is a charge of course.

The fee is just $2.75 for the one ticket.

Don’t these fees cover some sort of expense?  And the Mets are just going to eat that cost?  Yeah riiiiiight.

Anyway, in the unlikely event you have any interest in attending a baseball game.

We will not be charging any fees. We may however be collecting a per-order charge.
