As it is of Labor Day, I miss the old Jerry Lewis telethons. The telethon was kind of like the Mets of TV- a bunch of stars way past their primes, always in need of money. See what I did there?
I see SNY is back to trying to make Gelbs look like a buffoon. They keep giving him nonsense assignments like the history of the franchise stuff. For most of the second half they had him doing solid player intel (which spotlighted how Keith does prep by newspaper and Francesa, sheesh). Now they have him looking stupid again.
Also, the 6 second commercials mid-inning can GFY.
