SLACKISH REACTION: Hooray the Mets won. I didn’t see any of this one, and no they weren’t playing Toronto.
Seems like a pretty quiet day. Hopefully Bob Woodward is working on a Mets book and someone from inside the Mets organization posts an anonymous letter (hey people inside the Mets, anonymous letters welcome!!!!)
I also welcome anonymous op-eds from insurance experts. If you are an insurance expert within the Mets organization I really welcome your anonymous op-ed.
Completely unrelated to the above, David Wright will begin playing simulated games because he didn’t just play actual games for three weeks before the Mets sat him for a week to mess up his timing.
Other than that Virginia, it’s a quiet morning, and the beat will want their day off so expect a very quiet DAY.
At least we know the Mets made it home safely.
