SLACKISH REACTION: Today the Mets will introduce us to Chief Brodie, a man with no experience running a baseball front office to run their front office. I think the Wilpons tried to be smart and outsmarted themselves. We shall see.

Over five games, the 2018 World Series averaged 14.3 million viewers. That is a drop off of 23% compared to the 2017 average of 18.7 million (via Variety). Game 5 did beat the football game on Sunday. Baseball is back baby!
