Welcome to Day 8 of the Mets Are Not Trading Noah Syndergaard. We had another article from a blogger (the former newspaper man writes for a blog, that makes him a blogger, for a site who has just over half the twitter followers I do). But everyone else does ME TOO CONTENT and just keeps regurgitating the same non-story.
Also remember that CONSIDER is a loaded word. I considered watching Jurassic World last night. I did not. Instead I watched Spider-Man: Homecoming
SLACKISH REACTION: Oh man, I think Spider-Man: Homecoming is the 2018 Mets of movies. Sort of. Whereas the first third of the 2018 Mets was good, and the other 2/3 bad, Spider-Man is 2/3 really fun and then the third act is so bad it made me dislike the entire film more than I liked it. The thing that starts the third act (trying not to spoil) just really felt like the kid of thing that if it had happened on S1E7 of a Spider-Man TV show I would have walked away from the series. At one point I considered not finishing the film. Very 2018 Mets in that respect.
A reminder to boycott NBC’s coverage of the Thanksgiving Day parade because they refuse to show much of the parade part in between musicals.
ICYMI here are your 2018 Mets Turkeys
