SLACKISH REACTION: As one would expect, things were very quiet with the holiday. Some maniac scheduled a soccer tournament so I gotta run out the door. And wait until I admit how lousy NEXT weekend’s soccer tournament is! I watched Jurassic World, at least for 75 minutes, at which point I bailed. That’s a bad movie all around. Also played lots and lots and lots of video games. Mostly Fifa. Today I’m all soccer tournament.
NOT LINKING: The clowns at the AAIMBR think Michael Conforto COULD be the next Captain. Aside from my love of the use of COULD (you could be the next Captain), there are presently ZERO captains in baseball (assuming you think Wright’s career is over even though he’s technically active.)
