OK OK apparently this Wilson Ramos guy is actually on the Mets.
The Mets who didn’t want me to know about the Holiday Party but did want me to know about Rajai Davis, apparently do not want me to know about Wilson Ramos.
I did not get a press release today, so I will have to make my own.
METS SIGN C WILSON RAMOS TO A CONTRACT OF SOME SORT
FLUSHING, N.Y., December 18, 2018 – The New York Mets today announced that the club has signed catcher Wilson Ramos to a major league contract and invited him to major league spring training. He will make some sort of money over the duration of the contract, but that’s really none of your business, is it?
Ramos, is 31 according to Google, and has played in parts of 9 seasons in the major leagues with teams like the Nationals, Rays and Phillies. He hit .300 with 15HRS in 2018 which is pretty snazzy for a guy we didn’t have to give up Syndergaard for.
Whatever you do, don’t tell the blogger who has been busting our balls about not mentioning the holiday party. We’ll ice his ass on press releases and see how he likes it. And definitely don’t send him any images. Plus Wags hates that guy.
Did we mention we signed Rajai Davis to a minor league contract? Also don’t tell the blogger we signed former Padres player Zach Lee to a minor league deal. Nobody knows who Zach Lee is or what position he plays anyway.
