Anyway, the infield looks legit enough I guess. Except for the Todd Frazier stuff, but anyway you guys told me Alonso will win the MVP so we’re fine there. Also wait until poor Dom finds out he’s THIRD.
But Wags, I keep staring at the Outfield. Let’s begin with the starting CFer. Lagares is a 4th OFer on a good team. You have him as the third OFer. That’s a problem.
Now lets look at the corners. Some day Nimmo or Conforto might need a day off. The back up LFer is….Jeff McNeil? Mr. McNeil has played the OF 9 times for a total of 65 innings, all in the minors. I thought we weren’t going to hope things work out.
If Conforto gets hurt are you playing McNeil out there every day? Or is the OF suddenly Braxton, Lagares and Nimmo. Come on bro.
In RF the backup RFer is….the starting LFer. Um, not sure it works that way.
So yeah Wags there’s kinda depth….but that’s it, there’s kinda depth. Please call the bros at CAA and see who they have on the free agent heap who needs a job.
Now before someone tells me the depth chart is unofficial…..thats fine. I got it from METS DOT COM. I don’t know where you want me to get roster info from, please educate me.
But even if it is unofficial. you can go nuts and make me a starting OF out of this puzzle. Lemme know. You can’t, because Brodie only has two legit MLB starting OFers on the roster.
