SLACKISH REACTION: Thursday was a great day in blog town. I got to write posts making fun of Matt Harvey, Todd Frazier, Mickey Hodges, and Tom Brady. That’s as good as it gets! Well, I probably should have worked in something about t-shirts and #Nohan. Maybe next time.

Gary isn’t going to enjoy this weekend.
This weekend it’s Net Negative Daniel Murphy vs Gary John Sterling Cohen. Murph is off to an awful start with a Frazier-like OPS of .759. He probably is also running the bases poorly and playing horrible defense. On the other hand, the ball now flies out of Citi Field so Gary is likely to tell us a Murph fly ball is to the track and to the wall as it sailed 47 rows deep. Are the t-shirt people there this weekend? Will Gary mention them? Lots to unpack this weekend.
And no I don’t have any images of Murph as a Rockies player yet, why do you ask? I do own a Murphy Cubs jersey though. I also own a Brodeur St. Louis Blues jersey. I don’t yet own a Rockies Murphy in purple, but @mediagoon knows I have a big birthday coming up.
Oh and Gare…let’s not act like you don’t read my stuff….if you see these guys….they are called THE 7 LINE ARMY. If you forget just ask Ron, or Howie, or Wayne, or Gelbs or even KB if you see him. They are the guys who sit right beyond the track, at the wall in center field.
I have soccer all weekend including tonight so probably won’t see any of Trackwall vs Net Negative.
