SLACKISH REACTION: The 4th Place Mets should have had a meeting. After Tuesday’s meeting had turned the season around I would have thought they would have another meeting to continue to momentum. Perhaps they can have a meeting today. I guess my Oral History Of The Meeting is canceled.
Maybe the Mets will be tired. Delta 8888 landed in Chicago at 1:15am. Figure they didn’t get to bet until 4am. Sleep 10 hours, now it’s 2pm and they have to be at the park by 4. Life is hard in the major leagues. I guess maybe Mickey could do a 3:45 quick meeting.
