With the baseball gods thought Koosman was pitching, or they decided to even out some of Terrific’s early season good luck. Tom pitched well, 1 run in 9 innings…but remember last week when I told you Bill Hands was good? Bill Hands was good. I like Hands a lot.
You guys know what I am gonna say…the Mets can’t compete with these Cubs, and 2nd place doesn’t make the playoffs in baseball. (I still can’t believe we have these stupid divisions now, I hate that.)
But if I told you in March that the Mets could finish second this season (and relax it’s still early) you would have danced.
