#Mets odds to make the playoffs went from 21.3% yesterday to 18.1% after their loss to the #Pirates last night, per Fangraphs.

Never tell me the odds!
And isn’t that 3 point drop proof how much crack everyone was on 24 hours ago when they were writing about the odds skyrocketing? Nonsense. All of it.
The Mets are 5 games out in the FPR, and three games behind the Indianapolis .500s
Baseball does not have big stars.
Hey @Pirates we would like to speak with your supervisor (via @Fiddy14) pic.twitter.com/UXJ1QSgVot

SLACKISH REACTION: Everything was looking great for Matz and then all of the sudden the wheels came off. This will not help the Fake Pennant Race.
But The Fake Pennant Race could help some dogs and cats. I told you I would make t-shirts, and now I have. If you buy one, all the money (after the manufacturer takes out whatever they take to make them), all the money goes to the North Shore Animal League. I am not making any money off this, I just want to mock the FPR while helping animals. The shirt is $20 which is really $24.99 all in after tax and shipping. Buy one!
Meanwhile, in an actual pennant race – Jason Vargas started for the Phillies and did well. Nice going Wags.
Meanwhile, the Angels have moved on and re-issued #33.
The Mets play at 7, then 1:35 tomorrow…then someone scheduled a doubleheader for Monday evening!
