Oh man what COULD have been. One of Matt Harvey’s 2019 minor league stops was with the Inland Empire 66ers.
You may also recall a few years back that Matt Harvey overslept after Cinco de Mayo causing the Mets to send security to his house…and people like me to suspect that he may have had a Burrito problem.
Meanwhile…you know how minor league teams like to do wacky alternate identities….look at THIS. How awesome would have been had MH pitched in a burritos jersey. You know what I could have done with that in my arsenal?
Unfortunately, it was not to be. We only have the regular game worn 66ers jersey that MH wore – which probably wound up in @mediagoon’s closet.
Maybe next Bat-time, next ba-channel…..if Matt ever pitches again.
