SLACKISH REACTION: I am not being contrarian here but last night proved to me that baseball has lost me. This Home Runs and sit around game is boring. I get that you’re all hopped up and excited but I turned the game off around 8:45 because I was bored, and I can no longer prop up the game by distracting myself with the crack that is twitter. I’m glad you enjoyed it, I am happy for the Mets, I will watch the game Friday night….but despite the high everyone is on, baseball is really really boring. I’ll talk about it all day long with you, but to actually watch the part with the ball and bat where there is 5 seconds of action once an hour? Boring. Despite the results.
The Fake Pennant Race continues to heat up – the Mets are only 1.5 games out of the Wild Card.
