It’s tough being the most hated man on the internet, but that was me yesterday as my comments about Pete Alonso’s alternate chant are not popular with the people of twitter.
You don’t hear much about this guy lately.
NOT LINKING: everyone has the predictable articles about how much they love the Mets and always did…and the predictable articles about how the opponents get tougher now. There is also #TheNarrative that we aren’t supposed to talk about the easy part of the schedule and how that’s not fair to the Mets.
Look, the schedule WAS easy. However those are the games you need to win, and the Mets did the best possible version of what they needed to do. These are good times in Queens. We rarely get them. So enjoy them while they are here and hope they last. You may even wake up tomorrow to me telling you the FPR is no longer fake. That’s up to the Phillies now.
