Nice article in the Chronicle catching up with Matty Baseball. The Real Deal seems to have lost The Full Namath and is starting to sound like a charismatic guy who just wants one more chance. The article also educated me on how far down the depth chart he is, even at AAA.
“It was pretty good,” Harvey said of the outing. “I was a little surprised. And, of course, right out of the gate, I had to cover first base, which I hadn’t done for a while, to get things going. I was happy I didn’t walk anyone and I was getting late swings on well-located fastballs. The more I’m out there, the more comfortable I get.”
