SLACKISH REACTION: Seems the Mets won 6-1. I got home from Big Road Trip and just wasn’t in the mood for a Mets game. Can you believe I had to work all day, then take an evening flight, and am now up at 5:45am blogging before commuting two hours to work a day game after traveling from another time zone? Don’t I get an off day? Doesn’t someone give me a catered meal? What time does the team bus pick me up at my doorstep?
Anyway, I am off my game as I have no feel for the Mets right now and haven’t been home in a while.
I see the Mets are 4 games back in the Wild Card.
The Mets play at 3pm today because it’s not totally insane to play professional sports on a weekday afternoon. Then an off day tomorrow – you wouldn’t want someone to have to travel from one time zone to another and then make them work,w oudl ya?
I gotta run, I think I hear the team bus ready to pick me up.
