SLACKISH REACTION: Happy Metsivus, where we are all encouraged to Air Our Grievances. I am not too angry at the Mets this year so I will just say something snarky about CAA and move on. But, I’d love to hear your grievances if you have any.
By the way the clowns at the AAIMBR not only ripped off Citi On The Edge Of Forever, I see today they ripped off the Metsivus bit which I have been doing for many years. That alone makes me want to not continue it. But hey these are the same people who couldn’t come up with anything but a total lift of “Morning Briefing.” I kinda hope that California style laws come to Queens so they have to cut 74 of their writers. And that’s my airing of grievances.
MATT HARVEY DISEASE: uh oh, Vulgar Pete may be going FULL NAMATH!!!

On Saturday, the record-setting Mets star stepped out for date night with fiancée Haley Walsh wearing a red fox fur vest, which was reminiscent of the wild fur coat Jets legend Joe Namath wore at Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014. Namath wore a similar style on the sideline in 1971.
In the article, the Post invokes Joe Namath’s name several times.
Now kids, recently another player when Full Namath before it was time, and we all know what happened there.
Ike Davis II had better watch out. When baseball changes the baseball back , a .200 average and 23 HRs is going to make people look a little more closely at things. The crowd turns quickly this town Vulgar Pete. You’ve all been warned.
NOT METS: Not one but TWO new episodes of Shark And Goon for you this morning. There is NO Mets content on Shark and Goon.
In this one we discuss Star Wars Episode IX
And in this one, our weekly recap of The Mandalorian.
All in all not bad for a December 23rd. I thought there would be nothing.
And AAIMBR guys….to quote the great William Shatner….”it sickens me.” Please try to be the least bit original just once guys. Just once.
