NOT LINKING: A-Rod was on Jimmy Fallon. While Johnny Carson rolled over in his grave and even Jay Leno thought, “Wow, this seems kind of light-weight”, A-Rod said he’d look into it if there were an opportunity. A-Rod is rich but he’s not sports team owner rich. And yes I get the Jeter scenario. Ain’t happening. Move along.
SLACKISH REACTION: Still a whole lot of nothing. I guess we can all freak out about Conforto’s injury, but I’m more focused on how cute baseball is that they think this season is going to start anywhere close to time. I’d advise you all to start following some more international news sources….try BBC or The Guardian….or maybe google words like Italy.
Or maybe you have kids in school. Did you get the “hey we were just wondering if you have Wi-fi at home, asking for a friend” surveys that went out.
Everything is going to shut down in like two weeks, including baseball. So while I hope Mr. Conforto is healthy, I suspect it won’t matter from a baseball perspective.
