Oh no! (as a famous beat reporter used to say) – just as soon as Pete Alonso came around on the whole LGM thing, SI went out and jinxed him!
As I pointed out on Saturday – either Pete will be the 9th player in 150 years of baseball to hit 50+ home runs in more than one season, or he has already had the best season of his career. Remember, I asked you to Trade High. I will remind you of this when the time comes.

And since you are too lazy to click the link (I just typo’d at made up a new word: Clazy, that’s what people who are too lazy to click are. Clazy.)
Since you are clazy, here’s the lists:
I thought I would make a list of MLB players who have hit more than 50 twice in their career. Actually I will make two lists. I will call the lists List A and List B.
List A includes Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, and Alex Rodriguez,
List B includes Willie Mays, Ralph Kiner, Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, and Ken Griffey Jr.
150 years of baseball, 8 guys have done it. Pete is sure to be number 9.
