Some day I will tell the tale of this jersey, but for now all you need to know is that it’s in safe keeping and will be worn with pride. As a completist I am glad to have this one rather than chase it for 10 years. Now if I can only find a Mercury Mets jersey. I named the dog Indiana.

Supreme Court ruling: Mets do not have a chance at winning the World Series
This is reportedly from a Supreme Court ruling today.
“If your child admits that she ‘did not read a book all summer,’ you will surmise that she did not read any book (but went to the movies a lot),” Kagan wrote. “And if a sports-fan friend bemoans that ‘the New York Mets do not have a chance of winning the World Series,’ you will gather that the team has no chance whatsoever (because they have no hitting).”
The ruling was unanimous.
