Per @mets, Mets Spring Training tickets go on sale January 14th at 10am.
I plan to attend the first two games…and will likely be lurking in the area on Sunday the 4th….and if that is Mets Bowling Night I might be found in one of the lanes.
If you see a fat guy in a METS POLICE #12 jersey it’s either me or a really big superfan of the blog in need of therapy.

Ryan has a new jersey…may he get 18 Hall of Fame seasons out of it! May Tejada jerseys be a really common sight around Citi Field for years to come.

A few things:
On twitter the other day (@metspolice) I started the #metspool for when zaniness would break out. The winner was @metspolice who had January 5th. Apparently these reports came out last night while I was watching Deadwood DVDs.
They say wisdom is knowing what you don’t know. I don’t know about this story, and I won’t be the one to break news or analyze it best. So I don’t wanna tell you not to read MP today but Mets Blog and others will do it better.
As for me, the great David Lee Roth once said, “You guys keep on raining, I’ll keep on having my parade.”. I think that’s what I’m going to do today.
So coming up…a Tejada jersey, some more Mr. Met love, and a Citi Field update.
