I’m such an idiot. I was going down the list and I was like…hmmm maybe this guy, maybe that guy, and then….OH YEAH lol. He will be the last Met to wear it. The One True Ace. Jake, tell Matt, Noah, Steven and Zack I said hi.
Tales of the Duck Knight: pretend baseball gets as boring as real baseball
Wow, MLB The Show really is a great sim. Today we’ll cover TWO Matt Harvey outings, because nothing interesting happened in either….just like real baseball.
In our first quick recap….the Ducks won their 102nd. Matt went 6 innings, 6Ks and a run. A pretty standard line for The Duck Knight in the second half, and no entertaining screen clips to share.
In the second recap we have some red vs. orange which might get Virtual Phil Hecken’s attention on Virtual Uni Watch if it’s a slow day.
But other than that, business as usual as the Ducks run out the clock. They win their 106th game behind Matt Harvey’s 7 innings of 5 hit ball. 8Ks.
Things are going so well that some comedians are even making daily videos now. Next they will be dropping by the booth.
Ducks win!
Coronavirus Filler: The 1979 Mets Yearbook
The 1979 Mets. Lee Mazzilli hit .303 15 and 79 which is like the Triple Crown of Metsdom. Take a look at the team stats….the darkest timeline.
Best Mets By Number: 47
I don’t even have to look here. This guy is tied to the biggest moments in franchise history. Show your ring to Mike and David.
Tales of the Duck Knight: Matt Harvey continues to roll in second half
Haven’t done one of these in a while (hey NBA2K is a better game) but let’s check back in with the AL West leading Long Island Ducks and our favorite virtual pitcher Matt Harvey!
It is September 11, 2020 and the Ducks have an 18.5 game lead.
Hey, I hope Matt doesn’t get distracted by that blonde in the first row!
TDK has been pitching well during the second half. He struck out the first four hitters but his problem continues to be that every now and then he will give up a long ball and….OH NO
But did fine…6 innings, 7ks 4 hits and just the run.
Two hours and 4 minutes, the way baseball should be played.
And at the start of August the Ducks called up prospect Willie Mays, and he’s our player of the game!
The Ducks win their 97th, and comedians are starting to come to games. It is good times all around.
