Watch Mike Piazza get quite quite huffy about his soccer team (video)

“I’m frustrated and I’m freakin’ pissed off.”

This is fun.   Watch Mike get a little feisty.  More than a little. Wow.

Mets Police Morning Laziness: Another rules violation and Matt from Mystic pitches just fine

Sorry is there a baseball game in there somewhere? I can’t really see it.

SLACKISH REACTION: Matt from Mystic had some nice innings. We are not going to hype him, right? I wrote about that yesterday so read that.

The Rumble Ponies have some cool Jurassic caps coming out.

Yet another Met violated rule 4.06

NOT LINKING:  Blah Blah Nimmo making most of his chance.  Blah blah Harvey hype article.  Blah Blah Todd Frazier looks forward to blah blah.  Lame.  And blah blah Mets set to play the Yankees blah blah.

No photos of David Wright’s Force Ghost in over a week.

CAN I WATCH TODAY’S METS GAME?

  • Tuesday 3/6        Astros    1:10  SNY
  • Wednesday 3/7 Yankees  1:10  SNY
  • Thursday 3/8                          Nope
  • Friday 3/9                                 Nope
  • Saturday 3/10                         Nope
  • Sunday 3/11           Astros  1:10  WPIX

I have a busy day today, that usually means Major Mets News as they have a spy cam on me and know when I can’t blog.

Yet another Mets player violates MLB Rule 4.06

Listen Mets – NO ADDRESSING OR MINGLING WITH SPECTATORS WHEN IN UNIFORM!!!

This is not my rule, it is baseball’s rule.  Yes it is stupid.   Now, if Zack wants to change into a t-shirt and address fans after a game then that is cool.  Not my rule.  Mickey is letting his players run wild.  Next thing someone will try and sneak in an off-brand undershirt.

I know the kid wants an autograph but we have rules here.  Take it up with the commish.   And while you’re at it ask him why the hell we’re stopping the game for planned mid-inning pitching changes in Spring Training.  Have the damn reliever ready to go, we don’t need to walk to the mound to take a baseball from the exiting pitcher.  Stupid.  As is rule 4.06.
