Mets latest virtue signaling: Women’s Night with Food Trucks..on a Monday

The Mets, the team that was all about BLM until the car sponsorship took BLM’s spot on the mound the next day, and the team that has a rainbow icon as their social media avatar but won’t wear on-field pride caps the way the Dodgers and Giants did, want you to know that Woman Are Super Important.  Women will be honored with….food trucks.  On a Monday.

So ladies, head on out to Citi Field on a Monday night and feel honored.  The Mets care about you, and now Alex has something to talk to her rich friends about over pastries.

Horrific looking 2025 MLB Home Run Derby and All Star Game jerseys announced

Yikes,  These are hideous.  And based on the design I was like…where is the game this year, is it in….Montreal?  Nope it’s obviously Atlanta.

And they are only $215.

In better news, MLB finally decided to be Less Stupid and these are only worn in the Derby and hanging around and stuff.  In the game the players will wear THEIR ACTUAL CLUB JERSEYS the way God intended.

Now maybe MLB can be Less Stupid and return Extra Innings to real baseball.  The ghost runner is one of the reasons I have completely stopped watching baseball.

Mets Subway Series Ticket Shenanigans?

I got this ad on social media…(btw note the Mets are all about Pride except they won’t wear on-field caps, which is a thing you can do as the Dodgers did it the other night)

That’s weird.  You’d think people would be excited to see these games.  So I went to the MLB.com site and was told…

Which makes sense….except for the sold out part.  I would like to buy two tickets…seems I easily can.

Also note the Friday day game, which I think the Mets should do every Friday in the summer…see Wrigley for how to do that.

Hmmm seems like there are a lot of tickets available but someone priced them at crazy numbers.

Yeah MLB you and your poster boy Lindor that disrespects the customers can hose off with this.  And how exactly do you define “sold out?”

Never forget. Never forgive. If he hit .220 you’d side with me dear reader, but you sell out for offense. I don’t.
The Lindor loving LFGM kind, or the self-respecting pinstriped uniforms blue caps kind?
