Hey SNY: more like Going Home with David Wright please

Wow, I’m so glad I back to backed MSG’s disappointing Summer of 86 (see post below this one) with SNY’s Going Home special about David Wright.

I’ve spent the last two months hyping How I Met The Mets and dissing Beer Money. Going Home is what I have been looking for.

Next time there is a rain delay please put things like this on (or Mets Yearbook, or new non-retro Mets Yearbooks, or How I Met The Mets).

Nice job.

Summer of 86: terribly disappointing

Wow. I’m so let down by MSG’s Summer of 86.

I hate writing this, and I am writing it while watching part one off the DVR. I’m so bored I can’t wait for it to end.

No video clips at all?

Lou Dobbs? John Leguizamo? Michael Rappaport? Ray Kelly? Who cares?

Seriously, give me 20 minutes with Darryl and Howie and I can make a How I Met The Mets on my laptop that will blow this away.

That being said, it was a billion times better than Beer Money, and is the type of programming that SNY should consider for rain delays.

Hopefully part two on MSG is better.

Famous Mets pitcher from 1980’s to be on tv rehab show

As a blogger I can’t ignore this one.

As someone who wants society to be a better place I am queasy about promoting trash television or celebritizing this persons bad habits.

He’s a famous guy from the 86 Mets. The famous garbage-celebrertainment-story website has the scoop.

I’m just gonna refer you to Cerrone who has the link and story too, but I’m gonna make you use your bookmark to get there.

Once again pitcher X makes me sad.

In case you’re wondering about my stance, it’s consistent with my ignoring of Player from 69 Bedroom Scandal and usually ignoring Out Of Control Former Met Financial Expert.

I’m here to make Metstropolis a better place if I can.
