If you are looking for stuff to do tomorrow….there’s a Yankees rally at the Modell’s on 42nd street in the morning (once again making the Yankees store across the street making them look bad) and then some Michael Kay thing in Times Square at lunch time.

While killing time in-between there’s a Winter Olympics “winter sports festival” at Rockefeller Center which is free and has “interactive curling, luge, sled hockey and biathlon laser rifle demonstrations” and a free skate for kids at 3.

I don’t know any Mets-themed events tomorrow.  Will be a long week.

There’s zero Mets news going on.   If I had it, I’d share it.

I went out to the Yankees store (now that they opened up for business) in search of World Series merchandise and found this sign!

MLB sure is selling an awful lot of winter gear.  Maybe they should consider playing 8 Sunday doubleheaders and shortening the season.

The Yankees store had a far lesser selection than Modell’s did.  They are selling customized Yankees jersey.  If you get your name on the back you probably don’t understand the brand.

Gotta appreciate the Modell’s on 42nd Street.  They aren’t messing around. Open for business and packed.   This is a giant Yankee infalatble outside the store.

One think that strikes me as we go through the photos – notice the color scheme on everything.  The same!!!!!!!  Mets, you listening?

I’m fascinated by how quickly these make it to stores.  Somewhere in a dumpster are some Angels banners I guess.

$9.99 for this patch.  Not bad looking.

Bad job outta the Yankees store on 42nd street, across from Modell’s.  The Yankees store was closed.  Sleeping in?   I can’t blame you, I only saw 6 innings and the last out myself.

Fighting for it all this time?   Battle Royal?  What????  Is there some huge Yankees-Phillies rivalry I missed?

$19.99 not bad at all.  Again, notice everything is the same color scheme – and it’s a color scheme you can wear with other attire.

I like this cap design a little better.

See the stocking caps?  If you think you will be cold just get one of those.  I don’t dig the ear-flap caps.

The town seems to feel good about itself this morning and that’s a good thing.

It’s an ugly rainy day, so we preview ALCS Game 6 with some ugly caps available from New Era.

First up, an Angels hat designed to match absolutely nothing you might wear.

I really struggle with these “fashion” caps, especially in Yankee.  The Yankee cap is so classic, why mess with it?

I never understand these either.  Squint hard enough and you’ll see an A.

A giant crooked NY with some squiggles behind it.   Um, ok.
