I think it’s time for #MetsFansUnited to admit its dead. Of course there is no one actually #MetsFansUnited, another “leader” quit yesterday morning. I dunno man. I just don’t know.
Regardless, the entire fanbase is checked out. The Loyal to the last out crowd too a Summer Saturday off which is fine, just tap the brakes next time the Mets are 11-1 and comedians are hanging out there. Let’s remember what happens when the Mets play .450 ball so that when they play .550 ball maybe we should tone down the thunder sticks.

Soft Todd Frazier has his OPS up to .733 after a few homers this week, but he’s still soft for blocking what seems like half of the fanbase.

As always the AAIMBR crowd and most of #MetsTwitter is wrong. This time it’s about Jay Bruce. Of course the Mets should play Jay Bruce. You are all forgetting how he should have gone to the DL but kept playing because Cespedes was out of the lineup. The guy can hit, and he’s in the FIRST year a 3/39. He isn’t sitting on the bench no matter how much you have a crush on Alonso who you have never seen play.

SLACKISH REACTION: Oh yeah, there was a game. I watched it until like 6:30 and then realized I would rather play video games. I edited the player name of my SS in Super Mega Baseball 2 and his name is now The Virus. That’s his actual name. Last name Virus, first name The.
I woke up this morning realizing I don’t feel like negating with today’s game. It’s a nice sunny day and I may just read a book on the deck. We’ll see how the morning goes.
