FLUSHING, N.Y., March 26, 2015 – The New York Mets today announced that Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter NE-YO will perform at Citi Field on Saturday, August 15 after the Mets host the Pittsburgh Pirates at 7:10 p.m. as the final concert of the 2015 Mets Postgame Concert Series. Tickets start at $20 and are available at Mets.com/Concerts.
Earlier this year NE-YO released Non-Fiction, his sixth consecutive Top 10 studio album which features hit singles “She Know,” “Time Of Our Lives,” and current single “Coming With You.” The Compound Entertainment/Motown recording artist is one of the most successful songwriters and artists in the last decade with three Grammy Awards and more than 10 million records sold worldwide.
The other two concerts at Citi Field this summer include two legendary rock bands. The Steve Miller Band will perform Saturday, June 27 following the 4:10 p.m. game vs. the Cincinnati Reds and Heart performs on Saturday, July 25 after the 7:10 p.m. game vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Saturday postgame performance will begin approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the game from a stage in the outfield behind second base. Admission to the concert is included in the price of the game ticket.
