After a months-long process, team owners Fred Wilpon and Saul Katz have refinanced $450 million in loans borrowed against cable network SportsNet New York, which airs Mets games, The Post has learned.While the financial terms could not be learned, some of the proceeds are expected to go toward funding the cash-strapped team’s day-to-day operations.

Our checks were sent the other day to the Tunnel To Towers Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. We came up just short of our $20,000 goal but covered the difference for this great cause. As promised all of the money we raised from our uNitY t-shirt sales is going back to NYers affected by the storm. The T2T relief fund has different areas in place that still need our help. We split the money up between their optional NY branches of Staten Island, NYC and Long Island.
