I debated whether or not I could include this one but it’s really cool and who really cares if it’s not technically a Mets jersey. From 2012 Irish night. I haven’t even worn this one yet.

I figure its going to cost me $1100 to get to Mets Banner Day
As I mentioned yesterday, Banner Day is Junior’s Birthday and Junior doesn’t want me to go to the Mets game.
Using my jedi mind-powers, I got him intrigued about the idea of having a “second” birthday party on the Party Deck.
My family is 5, plus grandma, plus Uncle @Mediagoon…that’s seven…three friends…10 tickets. Can I even buy just 10 tickets on the Deck?
So I figure that’s $1000. Oh plus he remembered I promised him a hundred bucks.
I’m working on it. Stupid Flanders.
About Dickey and the Mets: This
The Mets: They know Dickey is unique and very good. They’d like to keep him for the future, so they don’t want him getting to free agency one year from now. However, because of age, over exposure, etc. they have doubts he can be as good next season as he was in 2012; and they’re very skeptical he can be as good in 2014 and 2015 as he was in 2012. They don’t want to be paying him $13 million a year if he falls apart, a because it’s money that could be better spent elsewhere, and b it makes trading him nearly impossible be it now, next summer or the years after that.

Today is the Mets holiday party. John Franco will play Santa, joined by elves Ike Davis and R.A. Dickey
