Times: Mets ticket panic
According to The Times, Mets ticket sales are not going well.
The article uses the word “panic”, says ticket office folks were “let go”, usual part-timers not brought in, and that the head of ticket sales has been replaced which I guess is/was “known” but it never registered in my brain.
It’s a very interesting read and I’m unclear how to reconcile it with the word “gangbusters” that was reportedly attributed to Dave Howard on ticket sales.

I had a ball at Digital Domain on Saturday. I’m in the best mood I have been in (in general, not just Mets) in a long time. A great great day.

Look Who Was at Spring Training
I wonder if Shannon realized he was at PSL with a former WWE Champ. Former baseball prospect Randy Poffo aka, Randy “Macho Man” Savage was taking in the Mets Spring Training game today. Savage was in the farm systems of the Cardinals, Reds, and White Sox. He last played for the Tampa Tarpons in 1974.
