After yesterday’s out of sequence look at 1987, here’s the 1975 yearbook featuring good old Tom Seaver. Â Nicknamed”The Franchise” it’s good to know he’ll be a Met forever. Â Note the price has snuck up to a dollar – a 33% increase!

Lineup and blog plan for tonight
Man I can’t wait to get to some bloggin’ tonight. Having a half working computer is giving me blog withdrawal.
First I need to go for a run. Been hitting the unnamed Donuts Chain a little hard as of late. I also have to ditch Mrs. Mets Police who will be looking to watch Mad Men or talk or something.
Keep the stuff coming in to [email protected] I may hold a few items for next week when I will be at airports cursing AT&T. Just because I don’t post it right away doesn’t mean I don’t love you.
Plenty of pics from the weekend are coming, some “You own this jersey” action and some surprising submissions for the A’s Police. Im still bummed the Seaver “Game 6” post disappeared. The site is self-aware I’ll tell ya.

Faith & Fear on Mets blogger night
I feel like I have been saying this all weekend, but once again the Faith & Fear guys prove they are better writers than my half-thought out sentences. Â This time it’s Jason Fry who captures the feelings in my brain as he tells another angle of The Night the Bloggers Landed. Â Again, I’m not sharing this stuff because I want you to see how cool we are, but I assume you;re at least a tiny part interested in my take as a Mets fan, and yeah being invited on the field by the Mets is very very cool. Â Here’s Jason:
Instead of lingering on the recent unpleasantness, I’d like to go back to offer my thoughts on Wednesday evening’s blogger visit to Citi Field, as chronicled by Greg here, Shannon of Mets Police here and Matthew Artus of Always Amazin’ here. I felt weirdly self-conscious as we made our way through the bowels of the stadium and out onto the green field, populated by big-as-life, honest-to-goodness Mets in pregame motley. Part of it was the oddity of the experience, of going somewhere I’d never been before except for the occasional Kids Dash or pregame event in which actual Mets were far away, instead of 18 inches from me. But another reason for my self-consciousness was that I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do or, frankly, what I wanted to do.
The rest is here.
Various Mets related links
Man, even the site rebelled against the A’s Police – several articles posted with incorrect titles and the great piece about “Game 6” (of the 1973 World Series) totally zapped itself. Maybe the blog has a soul now? Cool.
For those of you following along at home, I’m having some computer problems which should be solved tonight at which point I can process a bunch of pictures from yesterday and a slew of new “You own this Mets jersey” articles.
I feel the Mets need to go 6-0 on this trip. The clock is starting to run out and it’s time to play catch up. Win one lose one just takes two games off the schedule.
In the meantime, here are some links from around the Metsiverse:

Even MetsBlog is a tad annoyed at yesterday’s attendance…though not as frank as I.
Mark Simon once again nails it at ESPN New York and suggests more nominees for the Mets Hall of Fame (a topic I shall steal). Â The more I look at Hojo’s stats….
Mark nails it a second time as he breaks down June with gems like “Mike Pelfrey pitched like Randy Jones.” Since I recall sitting at a game where Randy walked the first 6 guys, I don’t think that’s a good thing.
