New Stadium Insider’s Tip on How To Re-enter Yankee Stadium Legally

Yankees Threaten To Take A Reporter’s Credentials Away For Taking Pictures Of GateGate!

My editorial that the media always decides the fans are wrong

and what started it all – Fans were told there would not be a game on Monday night, then not allowed to reenter the stadium.

Lost in all this – why did they start a game at 9:20, and when will they be issuing rainchecks?

Yankee Stadium Security Chases Paul O’Neill From Batting Cage (New York Yankees)

Man, I am loving Pile On The Yankees Day.   Get a load of this!

Over the weekend, former outfielder Paul O’Neill, a current analyst for YES, was asked by security to leave the indoor batting cages, where he was watching Yankees hit, prior a game.

A guard told O’Neill that he couldn’t loiter in the area. To make matters worse, O’Neill was upset that his wife wasn’t allowed into the Stadium’s “wifes room.”

Yankees Want Stadium Funds Inquiry Stopped

As we continue Pile On The Yankees Day, I want to tell you about the Yankees desire to stop a subpoena related to the use of public money to help build Yankee Stadium.

Eating At Yankee Stadium Not So Great (Village Voice)

Pile On The Yankees Day continues with this article from the Voice.

We were standing in the rain at Yankees Stadium last night, drinking our $9 beers and waiting for the game to start. Our seats were way up in the nosebleed section, aka the grandstand, but we were hanging out one section down, on the terrace level. On the jumbotron, a chef in pinstripes was making lobster bisque, finished with a sprinkle of roasted, ground star anise.

Meanwhile, we had walked the entire terrace level, and hadn’t seen anything but fries, hot dogs, pretzels, and the like–standard ballpark food. There were cheesesteaks, and Boar’s Head sandwiches, too, I guess, but that isn’t too exciting. Of course, now everything, including the beer, has calorie labels, which I support in theory, but which kind of bums me out in the context of buying a beer at a ballgame. (Although

I am happy that I now know that “bazzini nuts” will set me back over 1000 calories. No thanks.)
Since there was no baseball being played anytime soon, and since I was vaguely remembering all those press releases I got about all the good food at the new stadium, we struck out to look for some better eats.

New Stadium Insider On YankeeGateGate and How To Re-enter Yankee Stadium (New York Yankees)

New Stadium Insider has a good post about Yankeegate. …

Everyone is a little bit wrong here. The Yankees are wrong for having an antiquated re-entry policy and poorly trained employees. The poorly trained employees are wrong for dispersing false information to fans. The fans are the victims here, especially those duped by the “How May I Help You” people. However, they are still wrong for leaving the stadium before seeing an official announcement from the team on the high-definition scoreboard, and then for assaulting police officers outside of the stadium. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

They also offer this great tip…

If any of those affected by this situation are reading this post today, we are going to provide you with a pro-tip for next time. The Yankees don’t officially allow re-entry, but if you go to….(click here )

It would be uncool of me to steal their tip so click the link and find out how to reenter the Stadium!  (at least until the Yankees read one of our blogs.)
