Hey the button on the #Mets City Connect cap is Grimace colored. Coincidence??

Hmmmm.  Maybe it was destiny all along.

While I have the floor – some elders in the Mets community  who I won’t name because I have enemies already – really should know better.  They are throwing things around like greatest week in Mets history.

Guys, sure.  Monday was fun.  Pete’s HR was fun.

But while I am sure everyone knows about Buckner, why don’t you all refresh your memory of Game 7 of the 1986 World Series.  And while you have your almanac out, look into Game 6 of the 1986 NLCS (which sure, was not the same week.)  Google words like Orosco.

Anyway, yes it was a fun week but tap the brakes.  It’s the Third Wild Card.  You two should know better, and one of you has gotten a little Corporate since Steve took over.
