Josh Lewin has moved onto differently green pastures. Josh had a good solid honorable run in the booth and will be missed. Cool guy, and I wish him the best, and his decision makes tons of sense.

Oh even Matt Harvey doesn’t think the Dark Knight returns. Look at this unconvincing answer. Wait for that little “you believed me, right?” look just before the video loops.

This should be a good looking uniform, but the FLA patch on the sleeve is hideous, the one on the cap is hideous, the ball plus the manufacturer logo looks unbalanced….this is not a good look MLB. Not a good look.

In a little-noticed filing last week with the US Patent and Trademark Office, the Amazins submitted a second request to trademark “LGM” — the popular hashtag on Twitter and Instagram that’s shorthand for “Let’s Go Mets.”

The new application wants to secure LGM protection for “education and entertainment services,” including at “museums,” “baseball exhibitions,” and “seminars in the field of sports and cultural history.”
Yeah I’m sure the Mets are really focused on museums and cultural history. I know cultural history is important to them by the way they are allowing their mascot to be used on merchandise whose imagery stems from ethnic stereotypes. Perhaps the judge can throw this back in their LGMming faces.
I also hope The7Line files to show THEY have been using LGM on merch and that The7Line gets the copyright, despite their current involvement in the offensive cap below
SLACKISH REACTION: I’m done with this Tebow thing. The Mets were pushing him SO hard yesterday on social media as if he’s a real prospect. Enough with the sideshow.
I get that it’s Spring Training and it doesn’t really matter, but stop taking this seriously.
My favorite fun fact is you will never guess who used to be his Agent. Oh…you will guess and you will be right.
We’re also at the early point of the Spring where we’re pretending Alonso has a shot at making this team as if he won’t be held behind for financial reasons. Stop being stupid everyone who covers this team.
Also, does anyone actually cover the Mets, or do they just Wilpon bash until they finally get the Yankees beat job they really want? Seems like a lot of beat reporters have run that program in recents seasons.
