The Mets Police

The New York Mets will host their annual Winter Blood Drive on Wednesday, January 9 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Foxwoods Club at Citi Field. Fans donating blood will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to a select Mets home game in 2019 excluding Opening Day. Donors must be 17 years of age (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.

WHEN:          Wednesday, January 9  11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Mr. Met will be in attendance from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

WHERE:        Foxwoods Club at Citi Field

Fans may park in Lot G off 126^th Street and enter through the Hodges VIP entrance.

Is it Groundhog day already?  Everyone is going with Stuff We Knew.

SLACKISH REACTION:  As I go through he the news it looks like the rest of the world noticed that Omar put it out there that Cespedes won’t play this season – you may have noticed that in yesterday’s Morning Laziness – and then there was a lot of Also Us content (I used to call that Me Too but that phrase seems to have changed) – and the AAIMBR realized THE METS NEED ANOTHER OFer.  Welcome to the party pal!  Wait until you realize Wags has you conned.

Also everyone woke up to the “news” that Wayne was taking over for Josh Lewin.  Did we not know that for like two months already?   But again what happens is one site writes it and everyone else Also Us’s it.

NOT LINKING:  Another example of Us Also will be how everyone today will pick up on Terry Francona saying he thinks Mickey Hodges will have a great year!  Who gives a hoot?
