Bud Harrelson is the only person to be in uniform for both of the Mets World Series championships (hmmmm- the curse of Bud?). He is an institution in Mets history. In Turning Two: My Journey to the Top of the World and Back with the New York Mets
I love Bud. I’ve met him several times and he remains one of my favorite Mets. This is a nice book and while I enjoyed it, I would not put it in my top 10.
One of the nicest and friendliest Mets I have ever had the privilege of meeting. The 1969 card Bud signed in person, while the other 2 I mailed to him. He not only sent them back immediately (7 days), he added in cardboard into the envelope I sent to make sure they wouldn’t bend.
