I love going to used book stores – you never know what you might find. That’s how I found this gem – The Game of Baseball by Gil Hodges (The World Championship Edition).
I admit I have never read it. In fact I have never fully opened it as the spine is still fully intact. Just having it is cool enough for me.
Speaking of Gil, don’t forget that the first Gil Hodges Unforgettable Fire Award will be presented at the Queens Baseball Convention on Jan. 18th.
