The most exciting pitcher for the Mets this season is Zack Wheeler. While his 4.25 ERA might make fans worry, he leads the team with a 1.2 WAR and a 3.37 FIP, plus the best strikeout numbers are the team. His problem has been his walks, and poor luck with balls hit in play. Fans attending the game will receive a Mets cereal bowl, but the average price is the highest of the series. Mets Tickets For A’s Series 19% Below Season Average

The New York Mets are near the bottom of the NL East with a 35-41 record, but they’re only 5.5 games out of first place. The division has been one of the worst in the league this year, and the Mets recently took three of four from the Miami Marlins. Now they return to Citi Field with the AL West leading Oakland A’s as the next team on the Mets schedule. The A’s have been the best team in baseball through the early season, owning the best record and run differential in the league. Mets tickets are averaging $69.63 for the series, down 19 percent from the season average of $86.36.

He had a complete game shutout against the Marlins, only facing one batter above the minimum.
