Sports Blog Index: Top 15 MLB Blogs

Some more generic stuff for your holiday reading.    Congrats to Amazin’ Avenue for making this list!

14. Amazing Avenue – Mets fans have a lot to be happy about right now. Their offense and some guy named Santana are pacing them atop the NL East, and they cracked our top 15 based on strong support from fans both in traffic and an abundance of comments.

  1. "Their offense and some guy named Santana are pacing them atop the NL East"? Mr. Met wants some of what they're smoking. Last I looked (about 5 minutes ago) the Mets are in a tie for 3rd place. The offense today got 6 singles in a pathetic showing except for Cora who got 3 of them.

I'm putting Amazing Avenue AND Sports Blog Index on my "Do Not Visit" list. I hear enough nonsense and don't need to actively go looking for more.

  2. Amazin' Avenue is by far the best Mets blog out there (MP is up there as well). The writing there is fact based, intelligent, and downright hilarious at times. No surprise to see them listed that high on the list. Glad to see that Metsblog didn't make it, that stuff is garbage.

  3. To be fair, the writer of the sports blog index phrased "their offense…" a while back. I saved the list for July 4th because I knew there would be little blog traffic yesterday (and boy was I right, about 20% of normal) so I saved some "generics."
