Wow, this is interesting. Â A pre-sale for people who bought tickets on Stubhub.
I may disappoint some of you but I’m not going to post the password on this site. Â I don’t think that’s a cool thing to do – it’s unfair to the people who actually earned the presale, and I don’t want to give the Mets the middle finger. Â I think the Fonz would give me a thumbs down if I did that. Â Â I will tell you that it is common knowledge that in 2009 the presales used the last names of star players.

YOUR EXCLUSIVE SINGLE GAME PRE-SALE OPPORTUNITY STARTS TUESDAY
Dear Mets Ticket Buyer on StubHub:
As a Mets ticket purchaser on StubHub during the 2009 season, we are pleased to offer you an exclusive “Pre-Sale” opportunity to purchase single game tickets to 2010 Mets regular season home games (excluding only the Subway Series) in advance of our general public sales openingon Sunday, March 7.
Visit Mets.com starting Tuesday, March 2 at 10 a.m. through Friday, March 5 at 11:59 p.m., click on the Pre-Sale link (link disabled so I don’t out my source – Shannon)  and use the special password “?????” for access.
A limited number of tickets for Opening Day, April 5 will be available in the Pre-Sale. You may purchase a maximum of four tickets for Opening Day, subject to availability.
This Pre-Sale is for individual ticket purchases. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover will be accepted. Group Sales of 25 or more tickets to a game will be available starting March 7.
You can find some other announced presales here.
I don’t think ‘any slub that uses Stubhub” (A good portion of non Mets fans) should get a presale.
I guess they figure that if they make it seem special maybe a few folks would be inclined to buy. Like a “sale” that really isnt.
I would think — and hope, in fact — that this presale only includes people who bought Mets tickets on Stubhub by going to Stubhub through the site on Mets.com. If you got Mets tickets by going straight to Stubhub.com, hopefully that doesn’t apply.
