BRING YOUR DOG TO THE NEW YORK METS
BARK IN THE PARK 2 AT CITI FIELD
Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 1:10 PM
Bring your dog to Bark in the Park 2 and sit with fellow dog lovers in the Pepsi Porch. Tickets are priced at $40 for humans and $10 for dogs. All proceeds from the dog tickets and a portion of the proceeds from human tickets will benefit the Animal League.
The Bark in the Park event is an excellent opportunity for dogs and their owners to get outside, get some exercise, and bond. However, this event may not be suitable for all dogs. Brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, etc.) generally do not tolerate heat or excessive activity well and can develop acute respiratory distress. Heavy coated Nordic breeds (Huskies, Akitas. etc.) can also easily become overheated in hot weather. For this reason, we advise that owners of this breed consult with a veterinarian prior to attendance.
Report to the BULLPEN GATE beginning at 11:40 AM with your tickets in hand to participate in the Dog Parade (weather permitting).
Attendees are asked to make sure that their pet is:
- Dog and family friendly
- Leashed at all times, in and around Citi Field, with the leash no longer than 4-6 feet
- Healthy and fully vaccinated, including rabies vaccination
In addition to details above, please note the following: Dogs will only be allowed in the Pepsi Porch area at Citi Field. Water will be made available for all dogs and will be set up to accommodate all visitors and their pets. Owners are encouraged tobring food or snacks for their dogs.
If you have any questions, please call Christina Andrews at (718) 559-3069.
