Due to licensing concerns, Major League Baseball cracked down on the Pirates for wearing Stargell stars in the National League wild-card game.

It’s good to see MLB is consistent in their caps policy.  It would be unfair if it were only the Mets who couldn’t wear rogue caps.

I’m also pleased to know that MLB has finally started paying attention to the number one scourge of the game – cap variations.  I wonder if we go back and check would we find guys like Sosa or Bonds wore rogue caps or if we were just all caught up in listening to Joe Buck and Mike Lupica sing the praises of our great game.

Thanks to the nice fellow who sent this in.
