Mets Today has a Letter From Doug Flynn to the Mets, in response to the Mike Schmidt letter to the Phillies. Flynn was an OK player – Schmidt’s the best third baseman of all time, so it doesn’t quite carry the same weight – but kinda cool to hear from Dougie, who gets in some shots about being the real #23.
