Here's an idea for Sunday night's meaningless Yankees-Orioles game:
Start Paul O'Neill in right field.
That's right. Right fielder #21.
The fans would go bananas. It would be a nice farewell to the Jeter teams before the big move to the House That A-Rod Brought Losing Baseball To.
Or should that be the house to which a-rod brought losing baseball – but I digress.
Anyway let him play RF in the top of the first. Wait until one out and then take him out. What's the worst that happens – he let's a ball get past him for a double? Who cares!
Think of how awesome Suzyn Waldman's on-air orgasm would be. Then announce #21 will be retired and not given to LaTroy Hawkins at a ceremony next year.
