Why Did They Move Across The Street?

Sliding Into Home: A Yankees Blog: 11/24 New Stadium Photo Update has some new pics.  

The top two really have me wondering why they moved across the streets from where the ghosts live.

Maybe the Yankees are destined to be the Red Sox of this century.
At least they aren’t taking government bailout money for stadium naming rights.

  1. Listen the only reason why the Red Sox finally won is that they stole a page out of the Yankees book. They got a regional sports TV network and spent the big money for Manny and Big Papi and hired gun pitchers like Schilling and Beckert. We had to get a new stadium because the old one would not stand up to the traffic anymore.

    I think the Mets needed a new Staduim too. I am just glad that you are still under the flight pattern for LaGuardia airport. I mean who the hell wants to hear what Gary Cohen has to say anyway?
