Pictures Of Obstructed View Seating In Citi Field Section 504 Row 3

If you have Promenade seating at Citi Field, watch out if you’re in the first three rows.   We walked around the park and there were lots of people moving up!

This is the actual seat they sold me.  Section 504, Row 3.   Go sit there yourself.

That’s not obstructed?  I don’t know about you but I like seeing the batter, pitcher and third baseman.  Don’t worry about the dude with the red hat, I understand there will be other fans at the game.  Even I’m not that whiny.

This second picture is what it’s like when someone actually uses the stairs.

After the rain I moved down to some seats downstairs.  The lower deck is great.

I really loved the stadium and don’t want to be sour – it’s really great – unless you’re in the first three rows upstairs.

To be fair to the Mets, the dude in the blue hat told me that he complained to the Mets and they are moving his seats.

  1. There are plenty of seats in rows 1 to 4 in prom that do not have a stairway problem. Do your research and you will be OK. I have section 521 row 2 and I purposely requested seats on the other side of the row where there is no stairs coming up. We need to get a list of what prom sections have the stairway problem and petition the mets to list and sell them as obstructed view. When I list the tickets I can not use on stubhub, I write nonobst in the row coloum, otherwise it’s a gamble if you buy without knowing. Otherwise, the stadium is great, enjoy the season!

  2. I’m a saturday plan holder, I just got off the phone a 40 minute conversation with an arrogant sales rep telling me there’s nothing they can do about the left field promenade, they can’t change the seats regardless of what Dave Howard said on the radio. Everyone take their complaints to consumerist.com!

  3. Debits Field is pathetic…a collection of primitive baeball pathologies. Between Madoff, the collapses, and the economy, this will DESTROY the organization. I hope the Wilpons sell. We need someone to come in and move home plate up 15 feet, add foul territorty, and fix those silly minature-golf wall in the OF.
