Mets-Phillies – Where Was Everybody?

The announced attendance tonight was 37,295

That would be 82.9% capacity.

Does this look like over 80% full to you?

And this is supposedly one of the top rivalries in baseball right now.

Has the luster worn off New Shea already?

Are people sick of the lack of Mets history and obstructed view seats?

I wonder how the crowd at New Yankee Stadium was tonight. Their official attendance was 43,769.

  1. If you watched the game when they did the remotes with Keith from around the field, there were loads of people obviously not in their seats. I think that’s what happens in the new parks. The paid attendance has always meant tickets sold for the game whether they show up or not.
